Breathe Well Mouth Strips (Kids)

WHAT IS MOUTH BREATHING?

A habit of inhaling and exhaling primarily through the mouth, allowing air to enter directly into the throat.

Habitual mouth breathing often starts during childhood and may continue into adulthood if left unaddressed. During the growing years, persistent mouth breathing can influence normal facial growth and development, potentially affecting oral posture, jaw alignment, and overall facial structure.

RISK OF LONG FACE SYNDROME

It is a developmental condition where the face grows vertically rather than horizontally when a child engages in frequent mouth breathing.

It is characterized by a long, narrow face, crowded teeth, a high-arched palate, and a gummy smile. It often results in malocclusion, such as overbites/ open bites and underdeveloped jaw.

This condition is more critical to address in children than adults.
